How has the meaning of the concepts "dictator" and "dictatorship" changed during the 19th century? For the analysis of which regimes in Europe and Latin America were they used? The symposium aims at establishing both a dialogue among different disciplines like history, history of art, philosophy of law and literary studies and between Latin America and Europe.
