The prime aspects in Nahua social memory and cultural heritage are manifested through a whole set of recurring representations that are identifiable in the indigenous colonial sources, in general, and in one unique genre, the so-called Primordial Titles (Títulos primordiales), in particular. The speech highlights how the decoding of the distinct features of the indigenous social memory embedded in these and similar textscan help to reveal the symbolic-mythological and divine stock of Nahua elements and essences.
