Dittmann, Alden (1930 - )
Alden Dittmann is a Chilean agronomist, who obtained his doctorate from the University of Göttingen in 1963. In 1964 Dittmann started working at the Ibero-American Institute (IAI) of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation in Berlin, where he was responsible for the special collections. He founded the IAI’s audio library. His work focused on politics and German emigration to Chile.
