250 years of U.S. Independence: Hemispheric Perspectives

The lecture series organized by the Ibero-Amerikanisches Institut marks the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America on July 4, 1876, with constitutional developments and debates on democracy in North and South America, while also focusing on transnational interconnections and intra-hemispheric relations.
