Continuing with the question on what characterises conceptualism in Latin American art, we have organised a session dedicated to two essays by art historian and curator Mari Carmen Ramírez. This session will count with a special guest. Stay tuned!

The symposium on conceptual art from Latin America "Rethinking Conceptualism: Avant-Garde, Activism and Politics in Latin American Art (1960s-1980s)" has been postponed and will take place from 25 to 26 March 2021 at Ibero-Amerikanisches Institut.

Before this meeting, Katerina Valdivia Bruch, artistic director and curator of the project, has started an online programme with workshops and monthly reading sessions.
