90 years IAI
The Ibero-American Institute is 90 years old!
The impetus for its foundation in 1930 was the donation of the private library of the Argentinean intellectual Ernesto Quesada to the Prussian state. Even then, the foundation for the IAI's success story was laid: the combination of library, research center and cultural center under one roof. It has made the Institute an internationally renowned bridge institution for scientific and cultural exchange between Germany and Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain and Portugal.
Let us celebrate our 90th anniversary together! We cordially invite you to participate in our virtual ceremony. A recording of the event can be watched afterwards on our YouTube channel. There is also a short video presentation about our institute.
From our many cooperation partners worldwide we will publish birthday wishes until the end of the year in our YouTube channel. If you also want to write us something, please feel free to send a message to firstname.lastname@example.org!
If you would like to learn more about the IAI, its activities and projects, we invite you to read our new information brochure.
Thank you for your support, cooperation and appreciation! May the IAI flourish for many more decades to come!
