IBEROAMERICANA. América Latina - España - Portugal is an interdisciplinary journal analysing the history, literature, cultural life and socio-political dynamics of Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain and Portugal. The journal is edited  by the Ibero-Amerikanisches Institut Preußischer Kulturbesitz (Berlin) in collaboration with the GIGA Institute for Latin American Studies (Hamburg) and the publisher Iberoamericana/Vervuert (Madrid/Frankfurt am Main).

IBEROAMERICANA is comprised of four sections:

Dossier, focusing on a special subject dealt with simultaneously by various disciplines and made up of original articles that are the fruit of scientific research;

Articles and Essays, containing original scientific contributions by researchers at the forefront of their fields;

Forum for Debate, containing shorter original contibutions presenting rigorous analysis of contemporary problematics relevant to the regional and disciplinary subject area;

Notes. Iberoamerican Reviews, containing reviews and original bibliographic articles. 

The journal is published  three times a year printed and online. All issues in Open Access at the journal's website.
