desiguALdades.net (2009-2016) was an interdisciplinary, international research network working on interdependent inequalities in Latin America. It was coordinated by the Lateinamerika-Institut (LAI) of the Freie Universität Berlin and the Ibero-Amerikanisches Institut (IAI) of the Stitfung Preußischer Kulturbesitz. The network received financial support by the German Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF, German Federal Ministry of Education and Research).

The desiguALdades.net Working Paper Series served to disseminate the first results of ongoing research projects in order to encourage the exchange of ideas and academic debate.
