How can territories lead the response to today’s “polycrisis” of climate, economic volatility, and shrinking public trust? Moving beyond top-down approaches, the session highlights Territorial Intelligence and Nature-based Solutions that protect ecosystems while strengthening livelihoods, social cohesion and governance. Using the Gran Chaco Americano, South America’s second-largest forest ecosystem, as a living case study, the discussion is designed to move from dialogue to action, offering a roadmap for international stakeholders. The objective of this session is to create a space for reflexive dialogue that allows participants to recognize, translate, and strengthen the concept of Territorial Intelligence as a foundation for navigating global challenges.

Panel discussion with Fabiana Menna (Fundación Gran Chaco), Norma Rodríguez (COMAR cooperative), Camilo Ernesto Lozano Torres and Tatiana Rodriquez (Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research – UFZ).

This event is co-sponsored as part of Gran Chaco Americano Week in Berlin, an initiative developed under the Impacto Verde project, funded by the European Union in Argentina and implemented by Redes Chaco.
