The typographer Oscar B. Mengen was originally from Braunschweig. In 1888 he emigrated to Argentina where he established a printing workshop together with his partner Franz Fessel. At the beginning of the 20th century the company became more and more involved in the graphic arts and produced the journal Éxito Gráfico. Revista Mensual Sudamericana de Artes Gráficas (1905-1916).
