German theater researcher Max Meier has researched and published on theater in Latin America. His area of regional expertise is the Andean region, particularly Peru.

Material: Six archive boxes containing various documents on theater in Latin America and the Caribbean: manuscripts, correspondence, programs, scripts, press clippings, photographs, postcards, U-Matic videotapes, and others (approximate period 1985-1996). Among them is material on the Theater- und Mediengesellschaft Lateinamerika e.V. / Sociedad de Teatro y Medios de Latinoamérica and the Escuela Internacional de Teatro de América Latina y el Caribe. In addition, there are documents on the Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional (Nicaragua).

Special note: The collection can only be consulted at the external storage facility in Friedrichshagen.

Note: correspondence and manuscripts from third parties are blocked for use until the end of 2026.
