The research of German art historian Helga von Kügelgen is characterized by the interconnection of European and Latin American art traditions, with a focus on art history from the 16th to the 20th century. She studied in Bonn, Freiburg, Zurich, and Mexico City, among other places, and worked at the University of Cologne.

Material: 9 archive boxes containing correspondence, notes, copies, newspaper clippings, and scores (mainly relating to the composer Mauricio Sotelo), 7 archive boxes containing photo prints (mainly photographs of works of art), 90 small-format slide boxes, 17 slide boxes, 1 box of glass negatives, 2 manuscripts.

Note: Correspondence and manuscripts from third parties contained in the collection are excluded from use until 2055.
