Klaus Koschmieder was a German archaeologist with a regional focus on Peru and Nicaragua. He studied in Berlin and Lima and worked on excavations in Vicús, Sipán, Túcume, Batán Grande, Casma, Puerto Pobre, Juscumba, Lamud-Luya (Peru) and El Tamarindo (Nicaragua), among others.Material

303 manuscripts, 34 volumes of correspondence, 122 bundles of photographs, 118 volumes of slides as well as numerous lists of photographs, newspaper cuttings, life documents, etc.
