Höpken, Friedrich (1889-1970)

Friedrich (“Federico”) Höpken was a German engineer who worked for German and Brazilian airlines in Brazil from 1923 to 1942, among other things. In 1937, he was involved in extensive reconnaissance flights in the border region between Bolivia and Brazil (Rio Guaporé).
