Frick, Guillermo (1813-1905)

Wilhelm Frick Eltze was born in Berlin and emigrated to Chile in 1839 (first to Valparaíso, then to Valdivia), where he became a farmer and later a teacher and headmaster at a school in Valdivia. He was also active as a composer.

Material: An archive folder containing two collections of sheet music (“Valdivianische Musik”), compositions by Guillermo Frick, a letter, and accompanying documents.

Provenance: Purchased in 1938
