Becker family
Carlos, the eldest son of the Becker family, who lived in Guatemala, stayed in Hamburg from 1935 onwards for the purpose of vocational training. He received letters and postcards in Spanish and German, mainly from his family, but also from some friends and acquaintances. The contents are wide-ranging and relate to everyday life, economics, and politics. Time frame: 1935-1939.
