Ursula Dyckerhoff was a German specialist in ancient American studies, an ethnohistorian and a translator. From 1988 to 1994 she curated exhibitions on Central and South America at the Rautenstrauch-Joest Museum in Cologne. She specialized in the ethnohistory of Mesoamerica. She had been married to Austrian ancient Americanist and ethnohistorian Hanns J. Prem since 1978.
