Scientific Advisory Board
The Scientific Advisory Board counsels the Ibero-American Institute (IAI) on specialized and interdisciplinary issues as well as on fundamental academic, cultural and library-related questions. It provides critical support for the IAI's work and promotes its national and international connectivity. The board evaluates developments and activities at the IAI, offers recommendations, and makes regular reports on the institute's work to the President of the Stiftung Preussischer Kulturbesitz (SPK, Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation).
The chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board is appointed by the Council of the SPK, and its other members are appointed by the SPK's president.
