Researchers
The research activities of the Ibero-American Institute (IAI) cover a broad spectrum of disciplines. These range from archaeology, social and cultural anthropology, sociology, history, and political science to literary studies, cultural studies, and linguistics. Many projects are designed to be interdisciplinary. The researchers and scholarly librarians at the IAI actively participate in national and international scientific, library, and cultural committees. They contribute to academic teaching in Germany and abroad, particularly in Latin America. Additionally, they provide consulting services in the fields of culture, science, and politics.
