Internships in Public Relations and Cultural Management

Unfortunately we are not able to offer internships in Public Relations and Cultural Management at the moment.

 

Required internships and sponsored internships (internship categories) are all possible in the Public Relations and Cultural Management Department of the Ibero-American Institute (IAI). Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to realize voluntary internships. Interested parties should have a good command of German and of Spanish or Portuguese and have completed at least two years of university study.

As part of the internship, interns are introduced to the diverse aspects of public relations work and the organization and execution of events at the IAI. For the two sections of the department, this means:

Press and Public Relations Work:

• Writing texts, conducting research and presenting information in the quarterly events calendar
• Support for media work

Cultural Management:

• Organizing and holding events (including evening events)
• Writing texts for event literature
• Setting up and taking down exhibitions
• Correspondence in German, Spanish and Portuguese
• Translations (German/Spanish/Portuguese/English)
• Answering written and telephone inquiries
• Researching addresses
