Arrival
A good option to get to the hotel is to take a taxi. Since not all taxi drivers speak English, let alone Spanish, it is advisable to show the taxi driver a paper with the name and address of the hotel. The taxi journey costs about 20 Euros from Tegel and 30 Euros from Schönefeld. This fare is per trip, not per person.
From Berlin-Tegel Airport (TXL):
There are buses leaving from Tegel Airport. You can purchase your ticket directly on the bus or at the ticket machines located at the bus stop. It costs 2,10 Euro (zones AB). Keep your ticket until the end of the trip to the hotel. To get to the hotel, please take following buses:
Bus 109 to the stop "Kurfürstendamm", then bus M29 heading for "Hermannplatz" to the stop "Youth Hostel". Get off, cross the bridge and take Stauffenbergstrasse. You will soon reach the Hotel Maritim. The trip takes about 45 minutes.
From Berlin-Schönefeld Airport (SXF):
There are suburban trains and buses leaving from Schönefeld Airport. You can purchase your ticket at a yellow ticket machine located in the train station. It costs 2,80 Euro (zones ABC).Keep your ticket until the end of the trip to the hotel.
To get to the hotel, please take following lines:
Urban railway "S 9" or train "Airport Express" (the train station is a 7 minutes walk away from the airport) to the stop "Alexanderplatz". There go out of the building and take bus M48 (heading for "Zehlendorf") to the stop "Kulturforum". Turn right onto the first street ("Sigismundstrasse"). After 5 minutes walking you will reach the Hotel Maritim on a corner on the second block. The trip takes about 60 minutes.
