Biblioteca criolla

This collection contains pulp magazines and regional literature from Argentine. The first pulp magazines were published in the 1870s and belonged to the Biblioteca criolla Robert Lehmann-Nitsche, the last titles appeared in the 1990s. The collection provides an insight into popular fiction in the Rio de la Plata region.

Mexican prints

This collection contains works of mexican popular culture from the end of the 19th to the beginning of the 20th centuries with illustrations by José Guadalupe Posada (1854-1913).

Cultural Magazines of Latin America

This collection contains retrodigitized cultural magazines from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Peru and Puerto Rico dating back to the period between 1880 and 1930.

Papers of Teobert Maler (1842-1917)

Teobert Maler was a German-Austrian architect and photographer.
In 1865 he made his first trip to Mexico as part of the entourage of Emperor Maximilian.

Portuguese-language theater and novel magazines

The collection is devoted to Brazilian and Portuguese magazines from the first half of the 20th century that printed in their issues entire novels, chapters of novels, plays or stories, whether original works or translations.

Spanish Popular Novel

This digital collection includes Spanish popular novels from their beginnings in the 19th century through the mid-20th century. They cover a wide range of subjects, including detective novels, novels about the Wild West, adventure and romance novels, science fiction, and fantasy literature.
