Law
With support from the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (German Research Foundation), the library of the Ibero-American Institute (IAI) has acquired substantial quantities of legal materials from and about Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain and Portugal. These acquisitions supplement the materials available in the special collection field of "law" at the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin (Berlin State Library).
The monographs, newspapers and electronic resources collected by the IAI are listed in the online catalog and can be ordered on library premises or through the interlibrary loan system or the subito delivery service. The library's reading room has a special section for reference works, and additional resources can be found in the cibera virtual library on Ibero-America, Spain and Portugal.
