Virtual Library on Ibero-America, Spain and Portugal
Cibera is an academic portal that provides access to diverse databases and academic communications using a standardized interface. It offers bibliographic information on books and essays, a press archive, a database of specialized Internet sites, full texts in digital form, a research database, a blog and a research tutorial. Cibera is a service run by the Ibero-American Institute (Berlin) and the State and University Library of Hamburg. The project was built in close cooperation with the GIGA Institute for Latin American Studies (Hamburg), the State and University Library of Bremen, and the University of Münster. Cibera is supported by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation) and is part of the interdisciplinary German science portal vascoda.
